Your Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a critical role in managing our clients' financial records, ensuring accuracy, and providing insightful financial reporting that contributes to our clients' success. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical skills, personal attributes, and a commitment to professional development, enabling them to excel in their role and make a significant contribution to the financial health and operational success of the organizations we serve.

No entry level please! Must have at least 5 years bookkeeping experience with an accounting background, experience in QBO software as well as working with small businesses.

10 hours per week. 40 hours a month.

This is a position for someone looking to work for someone else - not someone building a bookkeeping business or looking to gain work experience. It is for someone who wants to be a part of a successful, highly skilled team working with a wide range of clients balancing business books to the penny!

What We're Looking For:  

·         A minimum of 5 years' experience in bookkeeping, handling the bookkeeping for multiple clients on a monthly basis.

·         Proficient in both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online, including but not limited to establishing a chart of accounts, managing Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), payroll, and Balance Sheet and General Ledger postings and financial reporting.

·         Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, Accounting Principles, Balance Sheet & COGS.

·         Demonstrated ability to follow processes and checklists meticulously to ensure accuracy and completeness in all bookkeeping activities.

·         Attention to detail and organizational skills that enable the management and systematic recording of financial documents.

·         Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.

·         Strong communication skills for clear and effective interaction with clients, team members, and external partners.

·         Adaptability to learn and integrate new technologies and methodologies in bookkeeping and accounting practices.

·         A commitment to ongoing education and professional development to stay abreast of industry changes and advancements.

Preferred:

·         Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.

·         Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis, financial reporting, and spreadsheet management.

• Previous CPA firm experience is a plus. Work experience will be considered in lieu of specific qualifications.

• Strong familiarity with the specific financial needs and challenges of industries such as marketing firms, health and wellness, medical, and real estate.
